Relaxing, blending and joyful toning/singing sessions in group settings with emphasis on indigenous sound, crystal bowling, movement and sound healing music. Offering collaborative sacred sound circles, events and toning with sound healers and musicians at Tucson Creative Living Center, Anjali and Synchronicity Centers in Tucson. Joan has studied with Jonathan Goldman, Don Campbell, Saruah Sarah Benson and Ven. Nawang Tashi Bapu and is a carrier of Peruvian Whisting Vessels.

Joan has been interested in music and sound all her life. Since her early years, Joan has been drawn to vocal group performance, song leading and many types of music, particularly sacred and indigenous. She grew up with Latin rhythms, jazz and opera in a city where choral and ethnic music, symphony and jazz are important.

Joan has served on various educational, race relations and youth mentoring advisory boards including The Cincinnati Youth Collaborative start-up committee. The CYC, one of the first youth mentoring programs in the nation, pairs business executives and citizens with students of all racial/social/economic strata for success in academics and employment.

is a graduate of The Union Institute (BA in English Literature),
and a member of Tucson NDE group and a volunteer with
