Mary
is a classical pianist, and has been playing for 30 years.
She is based in New York City and Philadelphia. Her experience
ranges from solo repertoire to chamber music, vocal music
(opera and lieder), and choral music. Her solo repertoire
specialties are French impressionist, Chopin, and modern
classical music. Her piano recordings have been broadcast
on radio stations in the US, and worldwide via the internet.
Mary has created a unique type of interactive concert
which is an amalgam of fine arts and holistic healing
arts. These concerts will be broadcast online starting
in 2008.
Prelude
Prelude was released in 1996. It contains 30 Preludes written for solo piano by: Chopin, Debussy, Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Scriabin, Ravel, Faure, and Kabalevsky.
In May 2003, Ms. Comtois made available her first in a series of "Sound For Well Being" CDs. In late November, the second CD of this series was made available. Relax and enjoy these interactive journeys of sound, meditation, and guided visualization. These unique CDs are especially interesting and convenient because you can tailor them as you desire. Each track is set up so that you can easily flow from one to the other, pause at any time, and/or just listen to part of the CD if you wish.
Mary
has been teaching for 19 years. She has a holistic approach,
and has created many classes, lectures, and workshops
on various music and sound healing subjects. Currently,
she teaches private lessons and classes with The International
Holistic Music Studio (an online learning company), The
Philadelphia Holistic Music Studio, and the New York City
Holistic Music Studio. She offers private lessons in:
piano, keyboard, voice, guitar (acoustic and electric),
bass (acoustic and electric), drums, violin, viola, cello,

Mary

Network as Director of Special Projects.
