A Sampler by Virginia and Dick Bethune
Virginia and her husband Dick, a
tenor, have created a mosaic of music for classical
organ and piano, harp, and voice, including hymns and
popular melodies.
Healing Harp Melodies I and II by
Virginia Bethune These 2 recordings, each at least 50
min. in length, are intentionally designed with 9-10 familiar
compositions, including Clair de Lune, Brahms Lullaby,
Vesper Hymn, Scarborough Fair, Danny Boy, Annie Laurie,
etc. followed by a similar number of less familiar tunes
to enable the mind, body, and spirit to become gradually
unfocused and totally relaxed. Responses have indicated
that these CDs have alleviated pain and insomnia and are

January 20, 2000. Full moon in Leo eclipsed by Aquarius
Sun. Aquariuan energy is about healing with sound
and Leo energy is taking action and putting it out,

an awareness of the healing power of sound and the wisdom
for expressing it. It is through these portals of sacred

On My Own by Ute Bonn
This is Voicedancer's Debut Album as
a recording artist. She has been influenced by music from
other cultures (Africa, Brazil, Native American....) and
created her own innovoative style. Calling it: "On
My Own" shows that she is doing this as a solo artist,
as one voice, A Capella. Her voice dances through rhythms,
melodies and sounds, and creates a bouquet of original
songs. Voicedancer (Ute Bonn) arranged the songs, wrote
the music, and the lyrics (except track 11).
Heartaches & Other Pleasures by
Ute Bonn This album, "Heartaches and Other
Pleasures", was released in 2005. The songs on the
CD (as the title already hints) are about love, life,
relationships - about the different facets like falling
in love, disappointment, anger, sadness, letting go and
being at peace - and loving again. Ute has used the songs
as her way to process her own experiences. She surprises
with her honesty and her sense of humor that are reflected
in these songs. The CD is for everyone who is experiencing
a hurtful break-up and wants to work through, and for

Reflections on Grieving by
Tami Briggs Reflections on Grieving is a booklet
that gently describes the grief journey and offers comfort
through the mourning process. Tami Briggs composed the
music so that it correlates with the various stages of
grief mentioned in the book. The solo harp selections
were inspired by having played at the bedside of hospital
and hospice patients and families who are experiencing
grief and loss.
