Musical Massage Sound Therapy (MMST) is unique in that it works on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies simultaneously, bringing them into harmony and raising the vibratory rate to levels which allow the body to accelerate its healing mechanisms. Musical Massage Sound Therapy brings each of the four energy bodies into their ideal vibratory rates. It was designed to do this, and clairvoyants and healers, as well as empirical results have confirmed this is true.
Similar to acupuncture and acupressure, MMST balances
our energy anatomy. The recordings remind our body of
its ideal vibratory rate. The sound patterns gently "massage"
(shift and nudge) vital energies to vibrate sympathetically
with the special balancing tones. By stimulating and supporting
the body's own healing mechanism, the process facilitates
self healing on several levels. The focus is on balance
and wellness (not problems or disease) although individuals
who have used the CD have consistently reported recovering
from a wide variety of illnesses.

RESEARCHER
Musical Massage and Sound Therapy Research
Dr. Maria McKinney had been researching music therapy for 20 years when she first created the Musical Massage Sound Therapy. From her research and working with clients, she wrote a book, The Healing Tones of Music, which described the effects of selected classical pieces for people with varying illnesses. She also conducted serious research on the effects of music therapy for people with multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. The method she used was extremely time-consuming. For each session, she would meditate on the individual, and select just the right musical pieces, make a tape of the selections, and play the tape during a healing session. The sessions were highly effective, but the method was too personal and labor-intensive to become widely used. It was for this reason, plus her continued interest to find music that would assist people in the birthing and dying process, that brought her to the next phase in her music therapy, that of creating Musical Massage Sound Therapy.

Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
Meditation returns you to the source. And the source of all is sound. — Kabir
