Dr.
Jeffrey D. Thompson has been experimenting with the use
of sound since a child. Once a physician, however, he
realized he had extra knowledge and tools for using sound
in a scientific manner. His beginning experiments started
in his Holistic Health Center in Virginia, using exact
sound frequencies to make Chiropractic spinal and cranial
adjustments, to stimulate and normalize organ function
and to balance meridians. Since that time, his methods
have evolved into using cutting-edge medical monitoring
systems for the brain and nervous system to tune exact
sound frequencies for healing.
Dr. Thompson moved to California in 1988 to continue his
research and establish a full-time research center in
the use of sound in healing. His results have led to an
advanced holistic and scientific sound healing modality
named 'Bio-Tuning®'. Using Bio-Tuning, Dr. Thompson
has treated thousands of patients, trained hundreds of
health professionals, and given scores of presentations
and lectures to professional organizations over the years.
His Center for Neuroacoustic Research is recognized worldwide

MUSICIAN
In
addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Thompson is a visionary
and worldwide expert in the field of brainwave entrainment
frequencies incorporated into beautiful musical sound
tracks. A consummate musician and composer in his own
right, he has established a method for using modulated
sound-pulses for changing states of consciousness for
optimal "Mind-Body" healing. His unique musical
soundscapes are amazingly beautiful and are well known
for their smoothness and effectiveness in creating the
brainwave states desired.
Dr. Thompson currently has over 90 Audio Programs on compact
disks available to the public and/or corporations. This
number of original creations continues to increase each
year. His soundscapes have also created the milieu for
conferences and specialty movies, and are used by many
practitioners to make their work more effective.

The
Center for Neuroacoustic Research
The
Center for Neuroacoustic Research (CNR) is dedicated to
the healing of the Global Body of the Universe through
the healing of individuals of which it is composed. It
explores the matrix and boundaries of the physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual bodies through clinical and scientific
research. It shares findings through publications and
by educating and training future Neuroacoustic Sound Practitioners™
and Neuroacoustic Sound Therapists™. It assists
individuals to achieve their personal goals in healing
themselves physically, mentally and emotionally, and in
growing through their increased inner awareness.
EDUCATOR
The
Center for Neuroacoustic Research, with Dr. Jeffrey Thompson
as the chief instructor, sponsors several 2-day seminars
a year, offering Continuing Educational Credits for LCSWs,
Nurses, MFTs, Massage Therapists, Body Energy Workers,
and for other professionals with their Examining Board's
approval. Dr. Thompson is entertaining, fields questions
