Janiece
holds a BA in Vocal Jazz Performance from Indiana University
and has been a practicing Reiki Master since 2000. She
has completed Jonathan Goldman's Healing Sounds Intensive,
Rhiannon's Vocal Improvisation Intensive, as well as participated
in Circle Singing training with Bobby McFerrin. Janiece
offers one-on-one Sound Healing sessions that are guided
by respectful loving intention. Each session is uniquely
suited to the client's needs. Janiece uses a combination
of Reiki (a hands-on, light- touch healing modality),
toning and instruments. During a session you might hear
voice, Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, drums, rattles,
tuning forks or gongs. Clients have experienced: pain
relief. stress relief. emotional balance. mental balance.
relaxation. clarity. and grounding.

Janiece
Jaffe was born in 1958 and raised in Bloomington, IN.
She graduated from IU in 1996 with a degree in Vocal Jazz
Performance. Since then she has performed with big bands,
small groups and duets locally and in Japan, Brazil; on
Crystal Cruiseline and various Jazz Festivals including
'Sedona Jazz on the Rocks'. She has also appeared in clubs
from NYC to San Diego.
Janiece
Jaffe taught Vocal Jazz at Jacob's School of Music at
Indiana University from 1991 to 1996. She has also taught
privately from her studio since 1995. Her teaching methods
are guided by the client's needs and cover: Tonal Quality

Studies . Vocal Improvisation ... and more.
Circle
Singing
Since
completing two of Bobby McFerrin's workshops in 2004 and
2005 and completing Rhiannon's improvisational singing
intensive, Janiece has been offering group circle singing
workshops. These workshops usually include group meditation
and improvisational group singing.
Reiki
After
becoming a Reiki Master in 2000, Janiece has taught Reiki
I, Reiki II, and Reiki Master workshops with Don Burns
in Bloomington, IN.
