Dorinne Davis, MA, CCC-A, FAAA, RCTC, BARA, President/Founder of The Davis Center, Rockaway, NJ, is credentialed in 17 different sound-based therapies and her background as an audiologist, educator and sound therapist provides the foundation to The Davis Center’s unique “Total Person” approach.
Her Diagnostic Evaluation for Therapy Protocol(R) provides solutions for determing if, when, how long, and in what order, any of the many sound-based therapies should be administered. The sound-based therapies that she provides at The Davis Center are Auditory Integration Training, Tomatis, BioAcoustics, Fast ForWord, Interactive Metronome, Samonas, The Listening Program, LiFT, HiFi Brain Fitness, and MXPro. The "Total Person Approach" is important in the interpretation of which sound-based therapy is best for the person.
The Davis Center suggests maximum learning is only accomplished through maximum wellness. This can only be accomplished with the connections of the Voice, Ear, Brain Connection as evidenced with "The Tree of Sound Enhancement Therapy". Her book "Sound Bodies through Sound Therapy" is considered to be a primer for understanding the many different types of sound-based therapies and how they work. Her sequel book, "Every Day A Miracle: Success Stories with Sound Therapy" shares 16 heartwarming stories of people who have utilized her diagnostic evaluation with great success.

RESEARCHER
Ms. Davis authored "The Davis Addendum® to the Tomatis
Effect", which includes 2 additional scientific laws building upon Dr.
Alfred Tomatis' early work that the voice produces what the ear hears.
50 years after Dr. Tomatis' work, Ms. Davis found that the ear also
emits the same stressed frequencies of the voice and that when
complementary or supplementary frequencies are introduced to the ear,
the voice regains coherence. Her work demonstrates that there is a
"Cycle of Sound®" in how the body absorbs and emits sound and that
the body is balanced when the process is stabilized.
Ms. Davis has also researched the effect of the acoustic reflex
muscle on hearing and sound processing, and written about the pre- and
post- results of a number of the sound-based therapies.
EDUCATOR
Ms. Davis is an international speaker on sound-based therapies. She also hosts workshops at The Davis Center. For additional information contact info@thedaviscenter.com.

The Davis Center Scholarship Fund
Visit The Davis Center for additional information about Ms. Davis and The Davis Center. Scholarship Fund: Ms. Davis has organized The Gift of Sound Fund, a scholarship fund for needy individuals who could benefit from sound-based therapies. This is supported by an endowment fund of donations from individuals, corporations, and families. If interested in donating, contact GOSF@thedaviscenter.com or call 973.400.0010.
Non-Profit Research Organization: Ms. Davis has also organized a not for profit organization called "Sound Is The Source", which supports research projects related to the impact of sound on the body. It will support the evidence based research for determining the efficacy of sound therapies and sound's overall impact on the body. It is funded by individual donations and/or grants. To donate, contact donations@SoundIsTheSource.org or call The Davis Center at 973.400.0010.
Joshua Leeds in his book "The Power of Sound" calls The Davis
Center, "the Sound Therapy Center of the Future". However, The Davis
Center is "Now".
Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
Meditation returns you to the source. And the source of all is sound. — Kabir
