 MUSICIAN

Early live and studio experience with the Capitol Records' group "Missing Persons", and studio work with Frank Zappa, Michael Jackson and many others have helped Chuck to develop high production values. Spending many studio hours over the years with five time Grammy winning engineer Bruce Swedien and famed producer Ken Scott has inspired Chuck to explore unique and subtle gradations of sound and feeling in his music.

Chuck's musical experience spans three decades, including writing 125 songs and compositions used in TV/Film and albums. The Pointer Sisters, Tommy Page, Timothy Leary, Wink, Jennifer Rush, Thelma Houston, Glen Medeiros and Philip Bailey are just some of the artists who have recorded his songs. Wild co-composed music with Michael Hoenig for the Emmy (TM) winning ABC-TV series Max Headroom. In 1992, his first composition for two pianos, Los Angeles Fantasy, was premiered by Zita Carno and Gloria Ching at the Bing Theater in Los Angeles. The same year, Wild co-scored the Academy Award (TM) winning film The Panama Deception. In 1989, he co-wrote (with Marti Sharron) the song "You're My One and Only," #1 hit in Europe for Jennifer Rush. Over the last twenty years, Chuck has lent his studio talents to projects with Michael Jackson, Paula Abdul, Missing Persons, Philip Bailey, Frank Zappa, and many other artists.
Liquid Mind Music
Liquid Mind is the name used by Los Angeles composer and producer Chuck Wild. There are few composers with as much love for slowness in their music as Wild. Chuck draws from classical and pop influences as varying as Beethoven and Brian Eno, Bartok and Rachmaninoff, Bach, Chopin and Fauré, Duruflé and Brahms.

The music of Liquid Mind is great music to massage to, great music to create to, great music to go to sleep by, great music for intimate moments with one you love. This functional and peaceful album is also used by parents to quiet hyperactive children, and to assist themselves in going back to sleep in the middle of a difficult night. Follow the links below to hear samples and to order.

The tranquil flow of the music, and the absence of regular rhythm, allows the listener to experience a level of relaxation not achievable by more active music. The fifth in Liquid Mind's elegant electronic series of slow relaxation music albums takes the listener to a place of deep calm and tranquility. This gentle album is used by people to relieve stress, by parents to help quiet hyperactive children, by insomniacs to assist themselves in going back to sleep in the middle of a difficult night, and by just about anyone to relieve the stress of a busy day at work.

Liquid Mind VII: Reflection
Liquid Mind VII: Reflection, the seventh in Liquid Mind ’s unique ultra-slow relaxation albums, ebbs and flows with a peaceful and introspective elegance. Science has proven that our minds and bodies harmonize with the tempo of our surroundings, and that slow music may cause a general relaxation of muscle tension. This beautiful album is "musical healthcare" at its best: ideal for sleeping, meditation, anxiety and anger management, as a background to Reiki, Yoga, massage, and to enhance all healing activities. Parents and teachers find it useful to quiet hyperactive kids, veterinarians use the music to help animals recovering from surgery, mothers give birth to it, students study to it, artists paint and writers write to the musical backdrop of Liquid Mind. This subtle music has a way of opening our hearts and minds to our true selves. Liquid Mind VII was awarded the COVR Visionary Award for "Best Meditation and Healing Music Album of 2005".

Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
