Level One
Comprehensively presents the connection between esoteric
(innermost) sound, voice, toning, song, music, meditation,
healing, and the inner heart. We learn advanced sound
and energetic healing techniques that are powerful and
practical tools for personal transformation enhancing
physical and emotional health for ourselves and others,
and how to truly heal and not harm with our voice. Energetic
imprints of negativity and self-doubt that separate us
from our hearts and our true selves are able to transform
and heal. Open to everyone, this course is suitable for
practitioners and general community alike.
Level Two
This advanced course takes sound healing and vocal awareness
to a deeper level. Practise and experience techniques
that facilitate your own healing, becoming a sound healing
practitioner, or teaching the work. Learn to live and
resonate in gentleness and grace filled awareness that
is reflected in the purity of your voice. The clarity
of mind, quality and true knowing that develops allows
energetic and sound healing at the highest level.
Level Three
Students and practitioners are able to move deeper with
the understanding and knowledge they have gained. Here
we finely tune the feeling body, and hone the awareness
of listening with the ears of the inner heart, bypassing
the nuances of the busy mind.

The Sound Foundation
Australian born Chris James is a soundmaster, musician, singer and healer whose music and voice opens up all those who listen to a world of unlimited potential, and offers a way for all walks of life to experience inner connection through the power of sound. Chris teaches internationally about the healing power of sound, song and meditation. Through discovering our natural voice, we learn that we can experience and trust our creativity and intuition. This frees us to be able to perceive and express clearly.
In addition to teaching internationally Chris has started The Sound Foundation to increase public awareness about the therapeutic benefits of music and singing in protecting and promoting both mental and physical health. The power of sound has been known to man for thousands of years and many people instinctively feel a deep connection with music, opening themselves up to its ability to alter mood and touch the soul. According to Chris, everyone is born with a beautiful voice, but after years of stress and life's struggles they forget how to use it and frequently claim that they cannot sing. Anyone who can speak can sing too, and it is only their inhibitions that prevent them from discovering their own beautiful voice.
Discovering their voice frequently leads people towards change, greater happiness and empowerment. It also brings harmony into their lives and the aim of the Foundation is to enable more and more people to experience this personal harmony and eventually bring about a global shift that leads to world peace.
The Sound Foundation has already provided funds for several projects in the UK to enable more people to experience the healing power of sound. Grants are available to graduates of The International Association of Graduates of the School of Sacred Sound (INGOTS). Working with children at Collingwood College - a comprehensive school for children of 11 to 18 which has almost 400 special needs students.
Ingot Sharon Galliford is working in conjunction with the Head of the Special Needs department to run sound therapy sessions in the autumn term. Funding from The Sound Foundation is making it possible for those running the sessions to receive a modest sum and for the purchase of much-needed instruments which will also be made available to people outside the school.
Heart Sound Camps in Wales is a residential sound healing camp in Brecon run by Ariana Ray. It is taking place in August 2006 and focuses on voice and sound healing. Funding has been provided to help with the start-up costs including buying essential tools, wood and equipment and it is hoped that the camp will be run as an ongoing concern.
Jaochim Zonneveld is Chairman of the Dutch NGO, Ghana Support, and is running workshops in Ghana to empower the women which include breathing exercises and singing which they find very healing. The award from the Sound Foundation is to help fund the running of at least three workshops, while Jaochim pays his own expenses. Learn more or make a donation to the Foundation.

Are Invited to Join the Esoteric Sound Group
We
will be exploring and rediscovering the innermost truth
of sound.
In this group there is an understood commitment, to energetically
align to truth, the way we play our instruments, how we
write our songs, how we present sound healing, how we
sing and what we sing and of course how we speak. This
leads to experiencing true joy and grace in the harmonious
blending of a group singing in oneness, and in our everyday
lives.
There is so much in the world of sound and sound healing
that, upon investigation, is not only NOT truly serving
the individuals connection to their essence but is actually
dis-empowering the person making it harder to heal their
core issues.
- If within ones practice
of sound healing there is ANY sending of sound or healing
or if there
is ANY intent.
- If in writing your songs there
is ANY emotion at all.
- If in the playing of your instrument
there is anything BUT an understanding of truly
surrendering ones spirit
and CHOOSING TO ALLOW THE DIVINE to play through.
- If the old 7 chakra system is
used in any way shape or form.
If any of the above things are happening your music or
sound or healing is not only NOT energetically aligned
in truth it is actually harming.
Remembering what was in our last newsletter …
... What this means is that no matter how much you have
established truth within you, no matter how much you have
let go of, understood etc, the human body is such a magnificent
organ of perception that if it sings or speaks words that
are NOT in truth it CANNOT stay aligned with the heart.
If we do choose to sing ‘ill configured words’
our energy immediately becomes NOT ALIGNED WITH TRUTH.
The ramifications of this are truly extraordinary, and
if heard and felt will cause all musicians, singers and
chanters to IMMEDIATELY re-examine what they are playing
or singing and start to develop the ability to test what
they are doing.
Because yes! This means that we have within us the ability
to truly discern what is energetically good for us and
what is actually NOT.
In our last level 2 training in Australia we had the experience
of participants singing a song of their own composition
that we then went through the process of energetically
reconfiguring. This enabled the writer to feel the difference
between what ‘looked good’, and what actually
felt aligned, in truth, and harmonious.
The most important learning was that sincerity IS NOT
ENOUGH, and this is where most of us are caught out (most
of the new age in fact!).
We will meet once a month. The information, questions
and comments that arise from these evenings will be answered
and shared with the group by email. We will be able to
benefit from each others experience. This will develop
YOUR OWN ability to not be fooled by your physical ears
and to trust THE EARS OF YOUR HEART.
I am available for private sessions to help you reconfigure
energetically with your instrument and to facilitate your
own healing and claiming of your instrument of truth,
your voice.
I will be available to consult with you about songs, listen
to your CD’s before you get them manufactured (saving
you many $1000’s when you discover that the music
is harming not healing!!)
