 PRACTITIONER
 
Born into a family of opera singers and concert musicians, Andrea was called to sing at an early age. Her formal training began when she was 5 years old, culminating in her years at The Chicago Conservatory of Music. She showed a special interest in Oratorio and Sacred Music, performing as a soloist with the Conservatory’s choirs and The Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Chamber Music Group. Andrea has studied Indigenous Music and Healing with several Elders, including Gary Four Star of the Assinaboine Nation. She has studied 15 years and currently studies with Genni Pearlsong McCoury, Moon Maiden of the Cherokee Nation and Director of Heart Intelligence, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Indigenous Healing. Andrea was adopted by Ms. McCoury several years ago, and is a family member in good standing.

In 1999, Andrea was electrocuted and underwent a near death experience. Her Grandmothers took her through a traditional shamanic death and rebirth ceremony, where she learned to cross the threshold between life and death. This ritual brought her to living "on the right side of her brain," where she experiences the peace beyond understanding and the expansiveness of being One with All That is. She shares this perspective in all of her work
Voice for Love Foundation
Andrea currently studies with Candace and DavidPaul Doyle of the Voice for Love Foundation. In this work, she is strengthening her connection with Unity Consciousness and is becoming a teacher of the Voice for Love. At the end of this year, Andrea will be a certified teacher and minister of the Voice for Love Foundation and will be able to teach others how to connect with that loving voice inside of them so that they can get their own guidance and help. Andrea is a minister with the Universal Brotherhood Movement. She currently is working on her Master's Degree using her experiences with the Voice for Love Foundation as the Basis for her degree.
